Springdale, Ohio is suburban community of Cincinnati, Ohio is located approximately 12.79 miles from Cincinnati to Springdale in northern direction and 16 miles (25.75 kilometers) by car, following the I-75 Northern Route. Cincinnati and Springdale are 24 minutes far apart, if driving non-stop.
Recently, according to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (citing U.S. Department of Justice reports), nearly 800,000 children are reported missing each year. That’s more than 2,000 a day. The NCMEC says 203,000 children are kidnapped each year by family members.
However, according to officials with the Springdale Police Department on Wednesday January 22nd, 2020 a 7-year-old child was reported abducted from a Springdale, Ohio hotel which prompted a multi-county investigation that ended in the Dayton, Ohio area.
Also, as of February 7th, 2018 it was reported, every 40 seconds a child goes missing somewhere in the United States. There are more than 460,000 missing children each year. Of those missing children, almost 1,500 of them are kidnapped. Two years later we are faced with greater numbers.
Recent information has suggested many of these missing people/children are exploited sexually, forced into labor camps and are process of harvesting their body parts. We need to be more vigilant of what is transpiring around and about us.
All things being considered, the Distance from Dayton, Ohio to Springdale, Ohio is approximately 36.16 miles from Dayton to Springdale in southwest direction and 40 miles (64.37 kilometers) by car, following the I-75 Southern Route. Dayton and Springdale are 41 minutes far apart, if driving non-stop.
Officials with the Springdale Police Department reported the child was taken from the Super 8 Motel in the 300 block of Glensprings Drive around 10:30 A.M. Wednesday morning.
Accordingly the child’s mother told police that an unknown man took her child, and drove away in a black Dodge Charger with a gray hood.
Circumstances surrounding the alleged abduction remain unclear, and an Amber Alert was not issued.
During the noon hours approaching 1 1/2 hours after the initial call investigators said that the child was dropped off at a relative’s home in the Dayton area.
Reportedly the child was unharmed.
Nonetheless, authorities said, shortly after the child was dropped off where the suspect’s vehicle was spotted in the Vandalia area of Montgomery County.
Subsequently, police tried to stop the car, but the driver fled from police. police continued to say, the chase came to an end on National Road near Interstate 75, and one man was taken into custody.
Reportedly, that man was been identified as 47-year-old Glen Dujuan Armstead Jr.
According to court records Amrstead is facing multiple charges. He is facing kidnapping charge(s) in Hamilton County, and charges of failure to comply in Montgomery County.
Currently, he is being held in the Montgomery County Jail, and will eventually be extradited back to Hamilton County.
