This is the day! On Tuesday, May 12th, 2020 Ohio Governor Mike DeWine said; “We’ve set out the guidelines of what businesses have to do.”

Ohio’s Hair Salons, Barbershops, Nail Salons, Day Spas Gets Green Light

The decision to reopen this much business is a colossal gamble.

Singing Glory Hallelujah! Hair salons, barbershops, nail salons and day spas in Ohio gets the OK to open up on Friday, May 15th, 2020 with guidelines.

These businesses are in addition to others laid out by the governor back in April. Health care procedures that do not require an overnight stay were permitted to resume May 1st, including dental procedures and veterinarians. Ohio GOP-Controlled House Voted To limit Acton’s Authority

On Wednesday Ohio Republican-controlled house of lawmakers has contended to be completely frustrated with Ohio’s aggressive stay-at-home orders issued by Dr. Amy Acton the state’s health director. Ohio Proposed $775 Million Budget Reduction

DeWine ordered a freeze on pay increases and promotions of unclassified and exempt staff and a freeze on new contract series for the state.

On Tuesday May 5th, 2020 Ohio Governor Mike DeWine announced a $775 million budget reduction.

Ironically, over the next two months the encumbrance of these cuts shall come to rest on Medicaid and education and shall include the following: (1) Medicaid: $210 million; (2) K-12 Foundation Payment Reduction: $300 million; (3) Other education budget line items: $55 million; (4) Higher education: $110 million, and (5) All other agencies: $100 million thus bringing us to a total cut of $775 million.
