Effective Tuesday, September 8th, 2020; on Thursday, August 3rd, 2020 Ohio Governor Mike DeWine issued a new order mandating all state’s schools to establish communication(s) with coronavirus reporting between both parents and school’s district.
The COVID-19 outbreak is continuing to change everyday life for millions of Americans. Leaders across the county, including the Tri-State area, are providing daily updates on confirmed cases, deaths and measures taking to curb the spread of the virus.
Vigorously, for months following the inception of COVID-19 I have been practically attached to my sewing machine making faces masks, 98% of which were donated to not-for-profit organizations, close friends and families. This is my contribution in the fight of preventing the spreading of COVID-19.
However, on Wednesday evening, August 12th, 2020 a spokesperson for Cincinnati Public Schools circulate a new policy passed by the CPS Board of Education requiring facial coverings for anyone who enters a school or building owned or controlled by the district. Several weeks ago, Finney Law Firm (FLF) did a webinar for EmpowerU on the relief offered to small business and self-employed under the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (CARES Act).
